This image was mouse drawn in Paint Shop Pro 9 using it's new "Art Media" Layer and art media tools including Oil Brush, Palette Knife, Smearl, Art Eraser and some of the more common tools like Eraser, Flood Fill, Shape Selectors, etc... and some Blur, and layering effects. I think the new Art Media feature, when learned, can be a great and fun tool which produces realistic-looking paintings but can also be frustrating to learn as it seems to favor more of the "Tablet User" population. But I bet there are more ways this new feature can be used other than in digital painting. |
