This was originally a picutre which was sorta "drawn" in PSP9 using some effects which I was trying to do originally to create a vector image of the said picture. Instead of the long-cut drawing using a Vector Tool, I decided to play around with adjustment layers and effects to reduce the original image color to within 4 or 5. It was starting to look like a vector drawing but the only thing is the edge of the colors were too rough and the image appeared "un-Antialiased". Then, I played around some more trying to figure out which is the best way to smoothen the edges without distorting or blurring the image too much. In the middle of all the mouse clicks, I noticed the image starting to look more like a Pastel drawing, so I stopped for a moment and decided to stick some background to it until I eventually came with the above image. I think the effect is pretty cool... now if I can only remember those steps... :) |
