DECORATIVE RING
1. Open a New Canvas: Size=500 X 500; Resolution=72; Background=Transparent.
2. Flood
Fill this with Marble Pattern (available in PSP8 and 9). Alternatively
for PSP7, Flood Fill the layer with Craggy Pattern.
3. Add
New Raster Layer, and flood fill this with Rainbow Pastel Gradient
(PSP8 and 9) or Sunset Gradient (PSP7).

Add New Raster Layer, and flood fill this with Blue Splatter Pattern
(PSP8 and 9) or Fabric Pattern (PSP7)
5. Now set the Layer
Properties of the top Two Layers as in the figures below. The difference
is obvious here but hopefully you get the idea of making your own
texture.

6. Once you're happy with the texture you are going to use, Merge these layers and minimize the canvas.
7. Again, open a New Canvas: Size=500 X 500; Resolution=72; Background=Transparent.
8. If you're going to use this for an existing project, you can open that project and draw a circle over the area proportionate to the project (or object) you're working on. Then, while still in Vector form, cut and paste it 4 times to the New Canvas you just opened.
9. Now here's the trick... use the Vector Selector to select each of the vector drawing (you can do this without changing the active layer) and follow the settings in the figure below.
Now, Merge Visible the layers and hit Save.
