1. Create a New Image: Width=500px X Height=500px,
Resolution=200px/inch, and Transparent Raster Background.
2.
Flood Fill canvas with #000000 color.
3. Add a New Raster
Layer and name it Sand1.
4.
Use Paint Brush or Air Brush with the settings below and with
color #D3CDB3. Drag the brush over the entire canvas but don't over
do it.

Use Emboss Brush with this setting: Size=150, Hardness=95, Step=25,
Density=100, Rotation=0, Thickness=100, Opacity=50, Blend Mode=Normal. Drag
the brush over the entire canvas but don't overdo it. Don't worry
if it's too dark at this time.

Add New Raster Layer and name it Sand2.
7. Repeat steps 4
and 5 then Merge Layers when done.

Use Push Brush with this setting: Size=105, Hardness=100, Step=25,
Density=30, Rotation=0, Thickness=100, Opacity=100. Drag brush over
the canvas to even out the texture and remove any brush patterns
that are visible.
9. Add New Raster Layer and name it Overlay.
Flood Fill it with color #D3CDB3.
10. Go to Layer => Layer
Properties => Overlay.
11. Add New Raster Layer and name
it Sand3.
12. Repeat step 4 only. You can use color #D3CDB3
or a much lighter color... Your texture should look like the image
below. When you're happy with the result, save it as SandTexture.psp
or SandTexture.pspimage file.
