1. Create a New Image: Width=500px X Height=800px,
Resolution=200px/inch, and Transparent Raster Background. The actual
image will be sized down to 80% at the end of this tutorial.
2.
Flood Fill canvas with this Gradient setting: STYLE=Linear, Angle=115
and use the following colors:

(In
PSP9, this gradient is a preset called Multi-aqua)

Use DODGE Brush with this setting: SIZE=50, HARDNESS=10, STEP=27,
DENSITY=100, THICKNESS=100, ROTATION=0, OPACITY=10 and click on
the area shown below (about 20 times):

Apply WAVE Effect: Go to Effects => Distortion => Wave and
use the setting below:

Apply RIPPLE Effect: Go to Effects => Distortion => Ripple
and use the settng below:

Apply FUR Texture: Go to Effects => Texture => Fur and use
the settings below:

Apply BRUSH STROKES: Go to Effects => Art Media Effects =>
Brush Strokes and use the settings below:

Apply SANDSTONE Texture: Go to Effects => Texture => Sandstone
and use the following settings below:

Zoom out to about 25% and expand your working window to allow space
for Deformation Tool. Use Raster Deform Tool and drag the bottom
right handle to the right while holding down SHIFT key.

your wheelmouse to Zoom In or Out)

Add MASK Layer: Go to Layers => New Mask Layer => From
Image... => Select Source Luminance and leave Invert Mask Data
unchecked.
11. Add New Raster Layer and name it RiverWater.
In the Layer Palette, drag the RiverWater Layer down below the Mask
and Raster1 layers..

Flood Fill RiverWater Layer with this Gradient Setting: STYLE=Linear,
ANGLE=333, and use the following colors:

Now, Merge all layers.

Save it as RiverWater.psp or RiverWater.pspimage
file.
