WHITE WATER



This tutorial was done in PSP 9. All the features used can be found in Paint Shop Pro 8, 9, and 10. This may be done in Paint Shop Pro 7 with few modifications. Some effects and features are rendered differently from version to version. You may have to change some settings to get the desired result.

REQUIREMENTS: PSP 8, 9 or 10 and basic knowledge of the program. Some drawing skills.


Part 2 - Fall


1. Open file RiverWater.psp or RiverWater.pspimage if you haven't done so already.

2. Use DODGE Brush with the setting below and highlight the area shown in the picture:

3. Use PUSH Brush with the setting below. Push the white area as indicated by the arrows in the picture. Careful not to overdo it.

4. Use SOFTEN Brush with the setting below. Click on desired areas to soften and to indicate water in motion. See sample areas below. Careful not to overdo it.

5. Progress Check: Your image should at least look like a body of water now. See sample below. If you're happy with the result... click on file and save your work.
